SO TELL ME ABOUT YOUR NEXT TRIP TO VEGAS
When it comes to hotels I look for location and price. I consider the hotel my home base, however you must choose your memory. I'm cheap and I budget my trip down to how much I'm going to gamble per hour. Look for free things to do. Or look for cheap things to do. Set yourself up to have good memories. This is the greatest city on earth...unless you're broke. Money management is key. Taking back home as much as you took to Las Vegas makes you the biggest winner of all.
That's the wonder of the free players' card. DO NOT play a machine or table without sticking it in the machine or giving it to the pit boss. Some insider information about Casino Royale. It is in the center of the strip, it's cheap (dollar mich's) and it's friendly. If you go in about 5 in the morning you can meet the owner as he tallies his nights winnings. All the staff are super friendly and you can see my picture on the overhead big screens as one of their jackpot winners. When I say center of the strip it's like this. The Venetian is on one side. Harrahs' is on the other. The Mirage is directly across. Treasure Island is about one block away. Caesar's is less than a block away. The room at the Royale has a safe. You also get some cable channels and room's are like a motel 6. The pool is small. The casino is a bit small. But remember, this is my home base. If you do check in at the Casino Royale, be sure to get your free players' card and the free coupon book. It's the best coupon book on the strip. After you throw your bags on the bed in your room, go down and get a free magaurita, play the double diamond machine for a while and then go see the sights and lights. Fun tip. When you walk out of Casino Royale , go into Harrahs'. Next to the revolving entry doors is a desk where you can get your picture made with a beautiful showgirl. For free. Something you can show the guys when you get back home. You can catch the deuce just pass the Venetian that will head you downtown and all casino's in between. (see strip map on my home page). Or you can walk across the street and catch the deuce and go to Mandalay Bay and all casino's in between. But remember, this is your never forget moments. 90% of the hotels on the strip are going to treat you well if you follow this golden rule, "If you don't see it, ask for it." I've enclosed some links for specific happenings in Las Vegas. Enjoy! By the way, I do love Las Vegas but I hang my hat in Nashville, Tennessee. The mountains, the music, the bar-b que and such make Tennessee a one of a kind place. Y'all come visit.
